SUMMARY:Together We Game (8 Week Therapy Group)
DESCRIPTION:Together We Game is a therapy group designed for neurodivergent identifying women and non-binary adults aged 21+. Through play\, creative expression\, and shared experience\, this group offers a supportive and engaging space to ease isolation and build meaningful relationships. Participants will explore expressive arts and collaborative games as tools for connection\, self-discovery\, and fun. \nThis group offers the opportunity to:\n\nExplore creativity\nConnect with like-minded individuals\nBuild a sense of belonging and community\nPlay!\n\nWhen: Every Monday from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM for 8 weeks (starting June 2nd\, 2025) \nWhere: Art of Counseling\, 275 4th St E\, Suite 301\, St. Paul\, MN 55101 \nPre-registration is required. If you’re interested in joining\, email juliana@artofcounselingstpaul.com\nThis group will be co-facilitated by Juliana Thrall\, MPS\, LPCC\, ATR-BC\, and Shelley Parker\, M. Ed. \nWe accept most major insurance plans\, including Medicare\, and can offer a sliding fee scale for those paying out-of-pocket. \n  \nArt of Counseling is in network with the following insurance providers: Blue Cross Blue Shield\, Blue Plus\, UCare\, Hennepin Health Plan\, Medica\, Medicaid of MN (MA)\, Medicare\, South Country Health Alliance\, Aetna\, Health Partners/Health Partners PMAP\, Cigna\, PrimeWest\, TriWest\, and United Healthcare. \nPlease note that there may be some narrow/limited networks within these insurance companies\, and we may not be in-network with those plans. SUMMARY:Expressive Arts Trauma Processing Group
DESCRIPTION:This 10-session therapy group will create a space for processing the impacts of relational traumas on ourselves and our lives through expressive art-making and supportive reflection. You do not need to be an ‘artist’ to participate\, as the creative work we do will center the process\, expression\, witnessing\, and connection that art-making allows us to engage with.\n\nThis group is intended for those who have already done some therapeutic work regarding their trauma histories in an individual therapy setting. The focus will be on exploring the ways that past traumas continue to show up in our lives and our relationships\, in connection with others with similar experiences.\n\nThis iteration of the group is specifically for female-identified adults\, to allow for greater shared experiences among participants regarding the impact of particular cultural expectations and dynamics on their unique identities and experiences. Those interested in joining\, or wanting to express interest in a similar group catered to different needs or identities\, should complete the questionnaire below; we will reach out for a follow-up interview or to offer alternative resources.\n\n\n\n\n\nTuesday\, 1:30 – 3:30 pm\nFebruary 18 – April 22\, 2025\n\nPre-registration is required Click Here\n\n\n\nThis group will be co-facilitated by art therapists Leah Fargo\, MA\, and Cynthia Phaerion\, MS.\nWe accept most insurance as well as out-of-pocket payment.
