“The only normal people are the ones you don’t know very well” -Alfred Adler
Chandra strives to meet clients where they’re at with humor, empathy, and encouragement. She was trained in Adlerian/Individual psychology, and borrows from Narrative therapy, Feminist theory, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Chandra works with individuals ages 9-99 as they navigate ADHD, Anxiety, Grief/loss, ecological anxiety/grief, and existentialism. She hopes that her clients feel validated, and safe to be their weird, wonderful, most authentic and imperfect selves. That’s the dream, anyway.
Chandra completed her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies at St. Catherine University. She received her Master of Arts in Adlerian Counseling and Psychotherapy. Chandra is certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and will complete Adaptive Internal Relation (AIR) Network training in May 2023. She is a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, has attended three ICASSI (International Committee for Adlerian Summer Schools and Institutes) workshops, and is a member of Minnesota Women in Psychology… when she remembers to pay her dues.
