Kim believes that counseling is a brave and courageous step toward finding out more about oneself and unlocking our own inner truths. By using a strength-based, person-centered approach, Kim creates a safe space for clients to explore their inner world in a way that feels gentle and empowering. She is passionate about fostering creative self-expression to make meaning of life’s obstacles and gain a greater sense of well-being. Kim has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Her most recent work was as a Mental Health Clinician in Seattle where she worked with youth and their families experiencing crises. Kim has worked with people of all ages experiencing anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, trauma, LGBTQ+ related issues, relationship issues, stress, chronic illness, life transitions, severe and persistent mental illness, and homelessness. Kim graduated with a dual master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Art Therapy from Antioch University Seattle.
