Maureen (she/her) brings a relational, strength-based, and trauma-informed approach to the therapy process.  She works to develop a collaborative and supportive partnership with you and is committed to honoring the unique knowledge and lived experience each person brings to therapy. Maureen’s style is grounded in warmth, curiosity, and connection, as she seeks to meet people where they are and walk with them as they navigate life’s challenges.  Maureen integrates art therapy, talk therapy, and trauma-informed practices to facilitate a process through which clients are able to tell their story, tap into their internal and external resources, practice new patterns, and move toward their values, dreams, and goals. Maureen works with children (6+), adolescents, and adults in both English and Spanish and is passionate about creating spaces and processes where individuals, families, and groups feel a sense of belonging, have agency, and where their personal and cultural strengths are recognized.

Maureen graduated from Adler Graduate School in 2018 with a master’s degree in Art Therapy and Adlerian Psychotherapy. Maureen is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and Registered Art Therapist (ATR). Maureen is certified in the AIR Network model for working with complex trauma and dissociative states. Maureen has completed intensive training in Dialectical and Behavioral Therapy (DBT) through Behavior Tech.
