Maureen (pronouns: she/her) brings a relational, collaborative, and strength-based approach to the therapy process.  She works to develop a trusting and supportive partnership with you and is committed to honoring the unique knowledge and lived experience each person brings to therapy. Maureen’s style is grounded in warmth, curiosity, and connection, as she seeks to meet people where they are at and walk with them as they navigate life’s challenges.  Maureen integrates art and talk therapy to facilitate a process through which clients are able to tell their story, tap into and develop their own inner resources, strengthen external supports, practice new patterns, and move toward wellness.  Maureen works with children, adolescents, and adults in both English and Spanish and is passionate about creating spaces and processes where individuals, families, and groups feel a sense of belonging, have agency, and where their personal and cultural strengths are recognized.

Maureen graduated from Adler Graduate School with a dual master’s degree in Art Therapy and Adlerian Psychotherapy.  Maureen currently holds the credential of Provisional Registered Art Therapist (ATR-P) and is working towards her licensure as a Licensed Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and a Registered Art Therapist (ATR).
