Join us on the 2nd Thursday of each month for Reel Reflections—a community-centered evening of film, guided conversation, and creative expression. Together, we’ll explore the art of storytelling through cinema and connect more deeply with ourselves and one another through intentional reflection and hands-on art making.
Each month’s screening takes place in our Wellness & Learning Center, just down the hall from our main offices on the 3rd floor of the Northwestern Building.
Our series begins with The Wild Robot, a heartwarming animated film that explores themes of compassion, belonging, and chosen family.
After the movie, stay for a thoughtful group discussion and an open-ended art-making session inspired by the film’s core messages.
Free popcorn while supplies last!
We’re using an economic justice sliding scale inspired by the Green Bottle economic justice model, which encourages equitable access by allowing individuals to choose what they pay based on their resources. If you’re able to contribute more, it helps make this event accessible for others!
(Children must be accompanied by an adult.)
Each ticket—adult or youth—includes access to the film screening, guided reflection, and creative art-making session.
If you’re unsure which tier to choose, we invite you to read more about the Green Bottle model and select the option that feels fair based on your circumstances.
