Bio
Keagan (she/they) navigates her therapeutic approach around the Adlerian concept of, “every behavior has a purpose”- especially when working with the youth population. She predominantly works with youth and adolescents and believes in holding an authentic space for individuals to explore their own perspectives and how it contributes to presenting behaviors through art making and storytelling. In addition, Keagan works within a Strength Based approach and encourages exploration of strengths, autonomy, and boundaries.
She strives to meet people where they are emotionally and mentally- while also acknowledging that this changes every day, and she encourages individuals to be compassionate towards themselves as they delve into the therapeutic experience.
Keagan is also a certified yoga instructor and believes in a strong mind/body/spiritual connection and is willing to integrate these components into the therapeutic practice in relation to the individual’s treatment goals.
Keagan completed her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Art Therapy from Adler Graduate School. They are working towards LPCC and ATR licensure under supervision with Lenaya Kerlin ATR, LPCC.
