Bio

Ben’s approach to therapy is nonjudgmental, inclusive, and person-centered—rooted in the belief that healing begins with being fully seen and understood. He works with teens, adults, and couples navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and major life transitions.

A key component of Ben’s work is clinical hypnosis, which he integrates as a powerful tool to access inner resources, reduce distress, and support meaningful change. He combines this with other evidence-based modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Existential Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), always tailoring each session to meet your unique needs and goals.

While he no longer identifies as religious, Ben’s prior experience as a Christian pastor enables him to connect deeply with people from diverse spiritual backgrounds, including those deconstructing their faith or healing from religious and spiritual trauma. His work honors each client’s story, values, and sense of meaning.

He currently practices under the supervision of Nikki Witt (MA, LPCC, ATR-BC, ATCS).
