Reel Reflections: Discovering Ourselves in Film

A Monthly Community Event Blending Cinema and Connection

Join us on the 2nd Thursday of each month for Reel Reflections—a community-centered evening of film, guided conversation, and creative expression. Together, we’ll explore the art of storytelling through cinema and connect more deeply with ourselves and one another through intentional reflection and hands-on art making.

Each month’s screening takes place in our Wellness & Learning Center, just down the hall from our main offices on the 3rd floor of the Northwestern Building.

June Movie Screening: Crip Camp: A Disability Revolution (2020) (WILL BE RESCHEDULED FOR THE FALL – DATE TO BE DETERMINED)

Next in our series is Crip Camp, a powerful documentary that honors resilience, collective care, and the transformative strength of community.

After the movie, stay for a thoughtful group discussion and an open-ended art-making session inspired by the film’s core messages.

  • Doors Open: 6:00 PM

Tickets & Sliding Scale Pricing

Adult Tickets:

  • Seed – $15 (Tier 1)
    • Nurture your own growth while receiving support from the community.
  • Bloom – $20 (Tier 2)
    • Choose this rate if it feels comfortable for you. Covers the true cost and helps the event flourish.
  • Canopy – $25 (Tier 3)
    • Offers shade and support for others to grow alongside you.

Youth Tickets (for kids under 12):

  • Seed – $7.50 (Tier 1)
