Bio

Ez (they/them/theirs) is a current master’s level student pursuing a degree in Art Therapy and Counseling through Southwestern College. After receiving a dual bachelor’s in studio art and psychology, they began work in mental health where they have been for several years. Ez has held positions stretching across youth inpatient services, youth and adult crisis stabilization, and outpatient services. They typically seek to work with adolescents, LGBTQ+ identities, ENM/poly identifying folks, neurodivergent, and trauma populations through a person centered, strengths based “punk” lens. To Ez, the therapeutic process can take many forms and be invoked in surprising ways. They look to clients as the expert opinion on what will and will not serve the healing process. Providing autonomy and choice, listening to preferencing, and returning to the internal sense of knowing are cornerstones of their therapeutic philosophy.

When not working with clients, Ez enjoys playing TTRPGs with friends, going to the Renaissance Fair, various video games, reading, local shows, and spending time with their cat, Veronicat.

Currently working under the supervision of Lenaya Kerlin (LPCC, ATR)
