Bio

My approach to counseling is person-centered, compassionate, and trauma-informed. I believe that every person has a unique story, and I strive to create a welcoming environment where clients feel comfortable being themselves. I also value the importance of culture, family, and personal experiences in shaping who we are. LGBTQ+, existential fear, grief and loss, developmental Trauma, Trauma, relational, religious, and physical. Through my experience working in the mental health field, I have developed a deeper understanding of the importance of listening, empathy, and meeting people where they are. I believe counseling is not about telling someone how to live their life, but rather helping them gain insight, build confidence, and find healthier ways to move forward.
